Spotted Flycatcher - one put in a brief appearance at Alderbottom along the cycle track

Swift - at least 100 birds over the sewage works late morning with around 100 hirundines of all 3 species

Sand Martin - still very little activity around the Townsendfold colony with a maximum of around 15 birds this week

Common Sandpiper - one at Alderbottom was my first for a while along the river

Goosander - male nr bypass bridge

Whitethroat - now present at all the usual sites between Groundwork and Ewood Bridge (prob 5 territories), plus one at Alderbottom
