Buzzard, 4 soaring singles,

Kestrel, 3,

Pheasant, 3 males all having a scuffle!

Moorhen, adult with 2 chicks plus another adult,

Curlew, c3 pairs,

Oystercatcher, pair over calling plus a single,

Lapwing, c12 birds,

Stock Dove, pair on the chimney plus single over,

Swift, 2 feeding over the valley,

Skylark, c20, many in song,

Swallow, c12,

Sand Martin, c12,

Meadow Pipit, c20,

Pied Wagtail, c5,

Whinchat, singing bird,

Stonechat, pair with c4 juvs at Cheesden Bar Lodge,

Wheatear, pair near Cheesden Bar,

Redstart, 2 singing males showing well in tree canopy,

Song Thrush, 1 singing bird,

Mistle Thrush, 1 singing bird,

Willow Warbler, c15 singing,
