A bat species seen today off Thornfield Avenue, Waterfoot, was the first of the year for me

Min 100 frogs spawning at Deansgreave Road, New Line today, with frog spawn also noted at a couple of sites near Whitworth Quarry

first bumblebee of the year seen at Park Road, Bacup on Wednesday 9th, with a buff-tailed bumblebee seen at Warth today
