0730/1000 hrs, calm 12 degrees, sunny.

Greylag Goose..single on bank of Buckhurst.

Whitethroat..single in song

Willow Warbler..7+ all round

Grasshopper Warbler.at least three reeling around Reservoir.

Wheatear..six in pairs feeding

Stonechat.three pair.

Reed Bunting..two pairs Buckhurst, and four pair round Reservoir.

Kestrel.single hunting near Moorside.

Lapwing.seven in fields, four on Reservoir.

Curlew.two calling, one on Reservior.

Sand Martin..15+ hawking over Cheesden Brook.

Swallow.five on Reservoir.

Mallard.several on Buckhurst, some with young, four on Reservoir.

Black-headed Gull.six over only two on Reservoir.

Common Sandpiper..single feeding on Reservoir bank.

Goldfinch.several pairs all round.

Chaffinch.three males in song

Greenfinch.single calling at Moorside.

Linnet.pair in gorse on road side.

Meadow Pipit..good numbers all round.

Skylark.many in song.

Pied Wagtail.six round Reservoir.

Grey Wagtail.pair feeding young near ruin.
