Friday evening Glenridding

Screaming parties of Swifts flying low over the village with Swallows & House Martins 

Ulls Water River Dipper & Grey Wagtail 

Saturday walk - Glenridding to Aira Force Waterfall a very wooded area lake side and hill side

First bird seen was a wood Warbler calling and giving great views too

Chiffchaff - Willow Warbler - Goldcrest - Blackcap - Nuthatch - Treecreeper - Chaffinch - Bullfinch - One pied Flycatcher calling - Buzzard 

Two Cuckoos calling one from the opposite side of the lake

Following Aira Beck up to Aira Force Waterfall 

Great Spotted Woodpecker - Green Woodpecker - one Wood Warbler calling - Dipper - Pied Flycatcher - Treecreeper feeding young at nest

Chiffchaff - Nuthatch - Chaffinch - Goldcrest 

Sunday St Bees to Bees Head

RSPB have three viewing points along the cliff tops giving good views of the sea birds

Not a great variety of sea birds around that day

Guillemot - Razorbill - Kittiwake - Cormorant - Herring Gull - good number of Raven  No sign of Black Guillemot 

Linnet - Stonechat - Whitethroat - Skylark - Meadow Pipit - Swallow - Jackdaw. No Birds of Prey seen 

Fantastic views from the cliff tops
