Sadly, Bryan passed away, after a short battle with cancer, at Barrow-in-Furness Hospital in the early hours of Sat 28th May with his family by his side.

He will be sadly missed. RIP 'Uncle Bryan".

Really sorry to hear this. I remember Bryan form the early days of the club and he was always really friendly. I wish I had known him sooner but not long after I came to the first meeting, he left. His contributions to to the birding clubs both in Rossendale and the Lancaster area are immense and irreplaceable. I hope his family manage to come to terms with this loss.

Sad to hear about his passing, I never had the pleasure of meeting him but I believe that he will be a big loss to the natural world.

Dave Ousey.
