On the 20th of December the caterpillar bellow was recorded

A Red Kite has been recorded over Cowpe Moss, Ashy Valley in December from the 7th to at least 22nd on a number of dates.  Not a bad 2022 with 3 species added to my Rossendale list.   Bar Tailed Godwit and Pintail at Grane and Red Breasted Merganser at Clowbridge.

Red Necked Grebe and Knot seen at Ashworth Moor Reservoir but that isn't Rossendale.
