Lesser Yellowlegs 

I had a trip over to Marshside to have a look at this rare American wader on its fifth day there would be a lifer for me.

Reports of it showing well on Crossens Pool, but on arriving there was no sign of it or enyone else.

But at the far end of the marsh was a small group of birders watching something then stopped and started making there way up,

on checking in front of me the wader had flown full length of the marsh back to its favoured spot giving cracking views of it.

All in all a great afternoons birding around Marshside
