Frost overnight, bright and sunny but only 2 degrees, 0900/1030 hours.
After the poorest recording year for winter migrants there was a female Brambling, first this winter, with a 16 strong flock of Chaffinch this morning.
Of note this week were,
Green Woodpecker, only the 4th record actually at the feeding station, after its visit it called for over 10 minutes in Strongstry wood.
Robins, all now being territorial.
Long-tailed Tits, still good numbers in flocks of over 12.
Goldcrest, never common here but a pair have been here all winter.
Coal Tit and Bullfinch still in good numbers as are Song Thrush.
