1 adult twite with 4 juvs and another adult with 2 juvs were present at an undisclosed location yesterday. Sad to say that there are perhaps only 1 or 2 prs left at this site and this may be the last site in Lancashire with any breeding birds. A colour ringed twite (see attached pic), that was seen with 2 juvs in Rossendale this summer, has been reported at Blakeney Point in north Norfolk this weekend amongst a flock of 33 birds. Good to know it's still going strong
