• Canada goose - 3 flew over towards Edgeside
• pink-footed goose - skein of 102 heading east 
• snipe - 44
• great black-backed gull - 1 flying west
• herring gull - 1 in field off Hurst Lane
• common gull - 2
• black-headed gull - 2
• kestrel - 1 male
• green woodpecker - yaffling bird
• fieldfare - flocks of 10, 27 & 21
• mistle thrush - singing birds at Turn Pike & Piercy
• song thrush = singing bird in Trickett's Memorial Ground 
• starling - c20
• goldcrest - calling from conifers at Edge Cote
• raven - flock of 3 over, then numerous sightings of 1 or 2 birds, probably all involving the same 3 birds
