I was up at Clough Bottom today. I couldn't find the whinchat, but can add the below to your sightings

• cormorant - 1
• mallard - 90
• teal - 4
• goosander - 4 redheads
• common sandpiper - 1
• lesser black-backed gull - 6
• buzzard - 1 soaring towards Weir/ Deerplay & 2 over Swallow Shore
• sparrowhawk - juvenile male over the dam wall at Clough Bottom & then probably the same bird seen later over Swallow Shore
• grey wagtail - 3 x 2
• pied wagtail - 1
• meadow pipit - 13
• stock dove - 3
• woodpigeon - 4
• swallow - 13
• whitethroat - 1
• chiffchaff - 3
• willow warbler - 1
• stonechat - male at the res & a female with a juv at Swallow Shore
• jackdaw - c36
• rook - 2
• goldfinch - c65, including 1 charm of c50 near Windy Bank
