Stubbins/Ewood bridge round Robin.

1400/1700 hrs pleasant sunshine 15 degrees.

Good numbers of Blackbird, Robin, and Wren around the route.

Jay.  3 along the railway Strongstry.

Song Thrush.  4 in woodland.

Blue Tit / Great Tit numbers seem ok.

Long-tailed Tit.  Group of 7 Alderbottom.

Coal Tit.  Only saw 2 at Alderbottom.

Great Spotted Woodpecker.  Male at Lumb and another in Irwell vale.

Jackdaw.  Large flock in sheep fields Irwell vale.

Dipper.  3 singles along the river.

Grey Wagtail.  4 as above.

Cormorant.  1 on river and 1 over.

Mallard.  Several along the river.

Nuthatch.  Still good numbers.

Dunnock   4/5 in woodland

Stock Dove   Pair at Alderbottom.

Greenfinch.  3 in Lumb

Goldfinch.  Odd ones in Strongstry, charm oF 16 near Ewood bridge

Goosander.  2 on river in Irwell vale.

Little Egret.  Single near Ewood bridge, apparently this has been in the area for couple of weeks.

Moorhen.  1 on Lumb lodge, and one on river at Ewood Bridge.

Wood Pigeons a plenty.

Buzzard.  2 over Chatterton wood.

Grey Heron.  2 along the river 

Bullfinch.  Pair in Lumb and Strongstry.

Carrion Crow.  4 over.

Collared Dove.  3 in Lumb.
