2 teams took part in the ROC winter bird race today. Team A Ian, Kevin & a returning Dave Nuttall, Team B Bob & Nigel. Sarfraz & Brian also added to the day list
After the recent bad weather there was, unsurprisingly, a shorter list than usual, with a total of 60 species recorded. No wader species were recorded at all. Other notable omissions were; great crested grebe, barn owl & fieldfare, which had all been recorded the previous day & kingfisher. Full list of species recorded
