On the way up/down, skeins of (approx) 40, 140 and 30 pinkfeet over west, 27 golden plovers around Compstons then away north, 10 snipe and one jack snipe Edge Cote. Curlews at four locations and lapwings at three. Meadow pipits now fairly widespread with two displaying.
Friday (7 mar) - chiffchaff singing at 3 locations around the sewage works (one bird?).
