10:00-11:00 Great Crested Grebe, 1 on res, Canada Goose, 2 pr on res, Garden Warbler, singing male showing well at the top end. Whitethroat, 3 singing males Willow Warbler, 8 singing males Chiffchaff, 2 singing males Skylark, 1 singing male Song Thrush, 1 singing male LBB Gull, 26 on the res Bullfinch, 2 males Goldfinch, 3, Chaffinch, 3 singing males Regards David

Hi Dave

i was up at Clough Bottom later today and can add the following

a pair of crossbills with 2 juvs, presumably just passing through, as there appears to be be very few cones up there

lesser black-backed gulls increased to a peak of around 240 @ 2pm, but there was a lot of coming and going, so likely more birds around

1 jay 

1 curlew

1 buzzard
