Lesser Yellowlegs 

Was showing well at Eric Morecambe pools feeding along side Redshanks also good numbers of Avocets and Black-tailed Godwits 

1 Med Gull 

1 Common Sandpiper 

Shelducks

Oystercatchers

Dunlin

Curlew

Gadwall

Lapwings

Kestrel

Leighton Moss Tim Jackson Hide

1 Bittern in flight 

3 Marsh Harrier 2f 1m

1 Otter feeding

Sky Tower
This gives great views of the reserve 

Great Black-backed Gulls with two chicks almost ready too fledge

Lower Trail 

Whilst having lunch on a bench I was graced with a cracking male Marsh Harrier giving a couple of passes over the reedbeds

Walk to the causeway hide 

Bearded Tits calling 

Cettis Warbler

Sedge Warbler

Willow Warbler

Marsh Tit 

Water Rail

Causeway Hide

1 Little Grebe

2 Great Crested Grebes with two juvenile

Shoveler

Teal

Mallard

Pochard

Tufted Duck

Mute Swan

Swifts

Swallows

Sand Martins

Lower Hide

Which has been replaced by a new hide see photos showing one half of the inside 

I just missed a Osprey 

1 Buzzard 

1 Sparrowhawk

1 Marsh Harrier female 

all in all a good day out
