Foulshaw Moss
As I was passing thought Id see if any Ospreys would be still around as this year two breeding pairs of Osprey was successfully
in rearing chicks
Stopped first at the observation tower which gave good views of two Ospreys one perching on the new nest and the other on a dead tree
The next viewing point looks over towards the old nest which as been used for many year, one Osprey was perching on the nest which had earlier
been feeding a young unringed bird which as moved into the area pushing out two of this years fledged Ospreys out of the area
Later saw a distant Osprey with a fish in its talons landing in top of a tree
Lots of common lizards on the boardwalks
Nice couple of hours here
