Overcast calm 12 degrees 1330/1600 hours.

Goosander.  At least seven along the route all females.

Grey Wagtail.  2 Strongstry, 1 Alderbottom, 3 near Ewood bridge.

Dipper.  5 singles along the route.

Grey Heron.  1 Irwell vale, 3 in Barn field Strongstry.

Moorhen.  Single Irwell vale.

Mallard.   Too many to count.

Chiffchaff.  Single feeding in Hawthorn on river bank Strongstry.

Jay.  3 calling and chasing in Irwell vale.

Great Spotted Woodpecker.   Single Strongstry woods.

Lots of Robin, wren but not many Blackbirds

Too many Wood Pigeon, Jackdaw.

Buzzard    Two over Irwell vale.

Feeding Station.   More Coal Tit than normall, usual Nuthatch, Blue Tit, Great Tit and Goldfinch

Treecreeper.  Single in Strongstry woods.

Did not cover area for Greenfinch, Chaffinch and Bullfinch but they were all seen yesterday.
