7. goosander - 2 redheads at Holden Wood
8. goldeneye - 6 at Ogden
9. buzzard - 2 over Waterfoot at first light & 2 at Ogden
10. kestrel - 3 at Grane & 1 near Cheesden
11. peregrine - 1pr on Hardman Mill chimney at New Hall Hey
12. moorhen - 2 at Holmes Terrace Lodge
13. snipe - 1 on Haslingden Moor & 1 on Harden Moor
14. woodcock - 1 on Haslingden Moor
15. black-headed gull
16. common gull - 1 at Ogden 
17. herring gull
18. lesser black-baked gull - 1 at Ogden
19. great black-backed gull - 1 at Ogden
20. feral pigeon
21. stock dove - 4 at Jamestone Quarry

with only 3 of us taking part and some high ground covered it wasn't possible to get around as many locations as usual, so it's worth noting the following birds seen yesterday but not in today's total; merlin, little owl, green woodpecker & jay
