Late post from yesterday. Afternoon ramble -

1 Dipper at Crawshawbooth + Nuthatch calling.

1 Buzzard over Stoneholme

2 Raven over Stoneholme

Kestrel at Stoneholme + Greenfinch singing.

10 Rook & 5 nests at Loveclough - this group move around every year nesting in different areas.

10 Fieldfares over Loveclough park.

Greenfold -

Flock of 30 lapwings, other birds on territory.

Golden Plovers heard in flight but not seen.

Pr Stonechat on territory  amongst rushes.

Pr Kestrel perched on the same pole.

1 Grey Heron stood in horse paddock.

1 Buzzard

10 Wood Pigeon feeding in paddock.

1m Reed Bunting

1 Pr Mallard

Quiet day for bird song, only an odd lark heard and no curlew - usually a pair in the area.

No Wheatears yet.
