• kestrel - 1 near Scout Moor Quarry
• herring gull - 1 over Cloughfold
• lesser black-backed gull - 2 over Waterfoot
• kingfisher - 1 at Hareholme (1 in Waterfoot on Friday)
• sand martin - 2 over Hurdles
• house martin - birds still visiting nest sites on the Con Club & Victoria Arcade in Waterfoot plus a flock of 6 over Hurdles 
• swallow - flocks of 3 & 5 up the Irwell Valley
• pied wagtail - 2 at Hurdles Quarry
• meadow pipit - c25, mostly around Cowpe Lowe
• woodpigeon - c50 at Warth in the morning. C200 flew from the beech trees at Roughlea early pm
