Great to meet up with Dave from the Club.  By the way Dave I left Stoney Rake at 1000hrs and on my way back down stopped off at Heap Clough (below Deep Clough), just higher than the Wellington Pub, having seen birds going through, and whilst there for over one hour had 11 parties (446 birds) of Fieldfare and about 4 parties of Starling and Redwing, so it was obvious because of the stronger winds this morning, the Fieldfare had relocated their routing North West but via Deep Clough and over Haslingden Moor.

Cheers,
Bryan.
