was there at 2.45 .....1 great crested grebe, 7 mallards.....of which 2 males flew away bt replaced by a pair  after 15 minutes


cormorannt flew off in the direction of ogden reservoir...presumably on the bank or in the trees


4 meadow pipits, plenty of black headed gulls and herring gulls some on the water while most just passing by


a flock of about 20 plus thrushes flew above.....i presume redwing or fieldfare but did nt get a chance for a close up


i saw a wood pigeon above......at least i thought it was from its size colourings and breast colourings which were a brownish/reddish/purpley colour....but then i realised it was a hawk.....and not a male sparrow hawk as the bird was the size of a female sparrow hawk or wood pigeon with ease......
