This is my first time recording my sightings so here goes:

Conditions: Weak sunshine giving way to cloud later

08:45 -09:15 Holden Wood Reservoir

10 Black Headed Gull

09:20 - 10:30 Calf Hey Reservoir

1 Pheasant
1 Goldeneye (Male)
1 pr. Mallard
1 Sparrowhawk
3 Great Tit
1 Great Spotted Woodpecker

10:45 - 11:15 Holmes Terrace Lane and Lodge

4 House Sparrow
1 Kingfisher
4 Grey Heron
2 pr. Mallard
1 Moorhen
2 Coal Tit

Sorry, Matt, I missed your posting in all the rush at the weekend to get the Rossendale locations on to the ELOC online data entry system.  Have you registered with it yet?  (See the sticky above).


Glad you managed to find Holmes Terrace Lodge.
