Only had Hebrew Character in trap for last 2 weeks until it rained. last night & night before:- Powdered Quaker White Shouldered House Moth Flame Carpet Scalloped Hazel Dark-barred Twin-spot Carpet May have been more, but they would be inside the frog I found in there.

Twenty-plume Moths

Alucita hexadactyla in the garden this evening. Food plant is honeysuckle, but they seem to like my peas. Easy to ID as it's the only member of the family in Britain....not only that it looks just like it's photo in the book...very obliging.

Ewood Bridge 1 Cinnabar Moth Edenfield. Had to stop mowing the lawn today due to a mass emergence of Large Yellow Underwings. Don't know if they were just asleep or newly emerged, but were reluctant to fly and in pristine condition.... until I went over them with the mower that is!!! Ina
