A message from Tony Cooper, BTO Regional Rep:

Dear All
A Breeding Little Ringed and Ringed Plover Survey is taking place this year. It involves visiting a tetrad (2-km square) on 2 or 3 occasions at least 14 days apart, to look for one of the two species (different tetrads for each species - 2 visits for RP, 3 for LRP).
There are 32 tetrads available, scattered throughout the region in 10-km squares SD62, 63, 65, 72, 73, 74, 75, 82, 83, 84 & 85, so there should be one near you. If you would like further information or are willing to take on one (or more?) anyway, please contact me.
Thank You
Tony
