hey all,
on sunday i am hoping to visit brockholes quary so have just afew questions for you:-
1. what is the best way to get there from haslingden centre? the quickest and most scenic routes.
2. i by passed a quarry sign just off the rounadabout between blackburn and preston, next to the bp garage - is that the area its in?
3. what species would i look for a this time of the yeat - antyhing large and small would do.
4. is there any special arrangements i need to make?
5. is it an area where one can do a good long walk too? i would love to have information on some walks there or even nerar that area.
