if you follow the link hopefully you should be able to see some of the photos I have taken in recent weeks.  All photos have been taken using a nikon p5100 camera held over my scope, with the exception of the mallards.  The twite picture is included to show the rings.  If anybody can shed any light on its origins I would appreciate it.

Hi Kevin. Looks like you are getting to grips with digiscoping. I like the composition of the Reed Bunting shot, well done.

Have you found the bracket of use? Hope so as it does make a big difference to the final IQ.

Thanks for those, Kevin. You've got some good shots there. I particularly like the Little Owl and the Reed Bunting.

Hi chaps

Thanks for the positive comments.  I haven't used the bracket as it doesn't fit my combination of scope and camera.  Thanks for the loan though, Ste.  I will return it to you either tomorrow or during next week if that's ok.  As for the composition of the reed bunting shot, the bird just sat on the fence near me so I took a picture of it.

cheers Kevin

Hi Kevin
Shame it does not work although I am surprised it does not. If you are intent on a bracket you can't go wrong with these two depending on your budget. Both have just been released.

The first link discusses a non swing out and then goes onto talk about the newer swing away baader bracket. This includes pictures and where to buy.

The second link is a company that is very much niche market gear as they make them for specific reasons and are excellent but pricey!

How are you finding the usage and setup of the camera?
