Hi Steve, I must compliment you on such a fantastic piece of work you have done in both photographic and factual content, quantity and presentation, you obviously not only had a great trip but have captured it all and been kind enough to share it with us all.. well done..and thank you..
I must say your photography is superb.
As you already know I have actually been to GOA now 14 times and never failed to enjoy whats on offer, and that seems to be the case year by year, theres still always something new to see and enjoy within this great place.
I am sure you have actually seen and recorded far more birds in your first visit, than I have in the many visits....
You are too kind. I just thought that it is great to have as many resources about certain places as possible as I have found other peoples reports very helpful to get the most out of the holiday.
Having been to one or two European places like most of us it was a real eye opener to visit somewhere like India and soon it became apparent why so many return as the place has so much to offer whether that be for birding, culture or sheer seat of your pants travel.
The shame of it is that we have been looking to go back maybe in January for three weeks but it seems that a lot of flights via thomson and first choice to Marinha Dourada hotel are now all taken from Manchester so we are not to sure we are going to make it.......but I do hope to return...at some point.
You never know we may well meet up for a plain lime soda at some point as no doubt you will be heading back. Who do you normally fly with?
Again thanks for the nice comments...have you checked out the pics of the Lesser and Greater sandplover that are facing each other for comparison...I had to wait ages for this shot!
