STARLING ROOST??

I noticed a large flock of Starlings, c2000, heading west over Crawshawbooth this week just before dusk, presumably to a roost west of here. Does anyone know of a roost in west Rossendale this autumn or towards Accrington/Blackburn area.

Any info would be very much appreciated by reply on here or PM.

A customer mentioned that a flock of 2000 were roosting in trees at the back of clowbridge res a few weeks back. I went up last night but saw nothing.

Hi Ste, Thanks for that. I had a look up there last week but saw nothing aswell, but i was late arriving so they could have been in a small newly planted section. I will be having another look soon.
