Hoping to go to Spurn on Saturday.   Has anyone been before?   Will be my first visit.   How long does it take to get to from here if travelling at about 65mph?

Hi Sarfraz

Sorry I was going to answer you earlier.

Have you been before? It's great but do a little homework to get the best out of a day trip as the area is huge in truth. The triangle with canal is a good place and sea watching can be good at the hide but I always recommend sitting outside as lot's can be missed if you go into the hide.

About 21/2 hours and remember that the M62 has a speed restriction of 50 and it goes on for miles and miles and you guessed it.....miles. Get there as early as possible. If you get it right it is a stunning day....if not it's just a great day. Have a nosey around kew area and the crown and anchor car park.

Have you checked this site out?

PS Don't forget Bluethroat hanging around at easington.
