I have been in touch with Steve White who collects some of the Lancashire Bird records and he did want records at the latest by the end of March.  Unfortunately I was away for a few weeks so have only had time to post this now.  Please send your records by email to   stevewhite102@btinternet.com

I daresay that he will not want to be inundated with daily records for common garden birds ie  3 Robins today, 5 the day after etc.  Of course if people have noted certain trends or differences then that should be added.  We have had some good sightings over the last 12 months - Bittern, Little Egret, Barn Owl, Hawfinch, good numbers of Lapwings at Grane etc.  Not to forget specialities like Twite!
