This years breeding figures makes for grim reading indeed.

It's as close to losing a breeding species as it gets.

I was reading an article about the game keepers now clearing the the hills of Mountain Hares as they have been found to pass on a parasite that troubles the "game" shoot species.

Please don't be apathetic to this issue.
