Is any one interested in the following trips over the next 2 months?:-
1. A trip to see the European Bee-eaters which are nesting near Brampton in Cumbria. They are nesting and probably have chicks so any point over next 2 weeks could be good. First breeding attempt in the North West of England.
2. Birdfair in Rutland County from August 21-23 - I have pencilled it in but could be in Dorset this weekend
3. Spurn trips in September and also October - dates would be dependent on the right conditions for migrants.

Looks like I will be going to the Birdfair on the Sunday. Spurn looks like we will be there 25th September for the weekend. We went to Spurn last Sunday and apart from a Yellow Wagtail we saw nowt!
I am still 50 50 with the Birdfair but do want to attend and if I do would be on the Saturday. I may finally consider going to see the Bee-eaters on Thursday.
