There is a feeling that certain species are in decline in Rossendale so we would like to ensure that we get as many breeding records sent to us as possible.
The Lapwing is one such species and we would like to receive records of breeding or attempted breeding, ideally with grid reference.
In addition we are also interested in Skylark, Collared Dove, Wheatear, Starling, House Sparrow & Greenfinch so if you know of sites where these species breed or attempt to do so, please post your sightings in the Sightings forum.
