Hi Guys,

How does Sunday 10th Jan suit for The Winter Bird Race?

I think we can still class it as exercise under the new restrictions of Tier 4. Start & finish as you see appropriate.

I'm more than happy to collate the totals if you send me your total number of species seen along with any highlights!

All the best,

David.

I should be fine - will probably have half a day but it is enough to get around in. I can do Grane but of course so can others who chose.

It looks like I won't be able to make it on Sunday due to work commitments.
Have a good one
Cheers

Hi Guys,
Seeing as we are restricted in time and distance we can travel under the Government guidelines now in force I think we should count any birds seen tomorrow on our list. That may be a Tawny Owl calling whilst we are still in bed or something at the feeding station or flying over once we are back at home. The main purpose is to record the species in our area in winter so if it is seen anytime tomorrow let's count it in.
I'm aiming to walk to Clowbridge / Clough Bottom time willing.
Best Regards,
David.
