Hi,

I was wandering around Greenbooth Resr over towards Norden yesterday. Spotted this diving in the small lake below the resr proper. Can't for the life of me ID it? I wondered if it was a juvenile, so hindering the ID?

Any thoughts gratefully received!

Hi Mike

It's a juvenile little grebe. the small lake you refer to is Doctor dam ladge fisheries if I remember right. It's a few years since I've visted the site, but there were always little grebes breeding there when I did.
