Ian - we have one on the Alden river  in the Musbury Valley, near Sunnybank Cottages. I have posted a sighting late Nov. on the site.You can access the footpath easily and it goes along the river so a good place to see  it.

Directions -  from Free Lane, Helmshore, down past St Thomas', you come up the hill  and to a T junction.turn left and then immeadiately turn right into Alden Rd up by Cecco's, bear right after 100 yds or so down a tree lined avenue. As the trees end you will see a metal gate  on the left. The path starts there.
