Although it isn't Rossendale it may be of interest. Just been round Entwistle Res and at 14:45, in sunshine, there was a bat flying over the wall at the outlet end. Bury Road

3 Deer crossed Bury Road into the Woods below Horncliffe Tip. I think they were Roe deer as the white rump didn't appear as large as they seem to be on Sika. Nice sight on the drive to work !!
