does any one ave any information on what deer species arefound in rossendale and where the best places to view deer would be in rossendale? i have only ever seen 1 deer in rossendale and that was in jan 2003 on the dual carriageway which links rawtenstall/haslngden with the m66. i saw the deer twic...

3 Deer crossed Bury Road into the Woods below Horncliffe Tip. I think they were Roe deer as the white rump didn't appear as large as they seem to be on Sika. Nice sight on the drive to work !!
