Good covering of snow on scout moor !! Several Willow Warbler. Single Chiff Chaff in song. Pair Blackcap. Treecreeper in nest site. Pair Mistle Thrush nesting. Mallard with 10 young. Several Sand Martin and two Swallows along the river. Buzzard heard not seen.

One male and one female dipper ,while the male was gaurding the nest entrance a kingfisher landed on the rock next to him,a little skirmish and the kingfisher was off,i also so this kingfisher at least 5 times in as many hours going up and down stream.
