I saw a martin over Ogden on Thurday flying high and northwards, I couldn't tell which one it was. Meanwhile there was plently of yaffling in the plantation and curlews in the fields, pied wagatails were pairing up.

I have spent a few evenings at dusk this week at Stubbins vale where i flushed the Woodcock and have been rewarded twice by seeing them rodding, on Thusday there was one and tonight there were two, i could only see one but could here another further away. The Tawny owls were also very vocal.
