Having been rain off from Clowbridge (male Stonechat) and not even bothering to set off around Clough Bottom because the rain was so heavy, the day improved as I was getting out of the car at home where a male Sparrowhawk was persistantly trying to catch swallows from a group of around 5 or 6 out our back...
