Vicarage Garden - little brown bird

I know this looks like a baby sparrow, but it's the ONLY sparrow I have ever seen in my garden in 18 months so am not 100% sure what it is. It always look a bit lost and a bit gormless and I feel a bit sorry for it. Kathy

29th August 2013, 7 - 8.30pm.. Whilst clearing net rides ready for this autumns migration watch i had 2 L E Owls flying around the bushes and perched on the fence line at dusk. Also 1 male Whinchat with 2 M Pipits on fence. 1 W Warbler in the bushes, nothing else! Craig.
